Robert David Dorsey

Mr. Dorsey was born October 17, 1945 in Louisville and was a United States Air Force veteran who served during Vietnam. He was former Pastor of Stonestreet Missionary Baptist and a member of Dorsey's Chapel Missionary Baptist.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Reverend Robert David Dorsey Sr. and Cordelia Thompson Dorsey.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 50 years, Bonnie Dorsey; son, Terry Dorsey; daughters, Sherry Nepute (Adam) and Tammy Key (Leonard Sr.); grandchildren, Kristina (Josh), Leonard II, Lauren, Logan and Josie; great grandchild, Mackenzie; sisters, Mary Elizabeth Dorsey and Delores Stallard (Jim); aunt, Cordie Dennison and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held on Monday at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd.) with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Saturday from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Sunday from 12:00 pm until 8:00 pm and after 10:00 am on Monday until the time of service at the funeral home.
