Robert Dale Jackson

Robert “Dale” Jackson, age 55, of Westview, Kentucky returned to his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, June 10, 2026. He was born on February 16, 1971, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Robert Lee and Myrtle (Roadhouse) Jackson. Dale enjoyed fishing, boating and spending time on the lake. He loved his work, especially working on cars and boats for his friends and family. Dale touched the lives of everyone he met, and each new acquaintance became an instant friend. His true passion was his family and friends; spending time with his loving wife, children, grandchildren and friends is what Dale held most dear to his heart.

Those left to cherish and honor his memory are his beloved wife of 10 years, Kimberly Jackson; children, Heather Gibbs (Austin), Wesley Jackson (Briana), Lindsey Bacalan (Adam) and Kaitey Griffin (Chase); grandchildren, Mason Bacalan, Lukas Bacalan, Beau Gibbs, Wyatt Gibbs, Elowyn Nunn and Magnolia Jackson; brother, David Jackson (Lori); best-friends, Danny and Myra Davis; “bonus” parents, John and Susie Clemons; close friends, Nick and Tesa McGill; Nicole Clemons Smith and a host of other family and friends.

Memorial Service will be conducted on Friday, June 19, 2026, at 12:00 pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with inurnment in Brookland Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects on Thursday, June 18, 2026, from 1:00 until 7:00 pm and on Friday, June 19, 2026, from 9:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.

In honor of this celebration of Dale’s life, the family requests visitors wear bright colored clothing and refrain from wearing black please.
