Robert worked with cars and motorcycles, but it wasn’t just a career, it was a passion, especially motorcycles. He was also a loving and proud father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle.
In addition to his parents, his son, Robert Scott Milburn and several siblings preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughters, Rebecca Summitt (David) and Marie Miller; grandchildren, Rev. Brandon Summitt (Tiffany Summitt) and William Summitt (Taylor Lighthill); great-grandchildren, Kaleb Summitt, Asher Samples, Kaitlyn Summitt, Jason Summitt, Natasha Samples and Scarlett Summitt; extended family, Karen and Travis Samples; a host of siblings, nieces, nephews and other dear family and friends.
Memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, July 11th, 2026 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) Friends and family may pay their respects on Saturday from 12:00 pm until the time of his service at 4:00 pm at the funeral home.
