Bob was born in Louisville, Kentucky, on August 15, 1961. He worked for DJ Inc. and was a talented musician, with a gift for playing the guitar and piano. Music was a true passion of Bob’s and brought him great joy.
Above all, Bob was deeply loved by his family and will be missed beyond measure.
His mother, Emma Grey Ryan and brother-in-law, Mark A. Hufford preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his father, Robert L. Ryan, Sr.; sisters, Ruth Hufford and Debbie Posey; niece, Jennifer L. Nanna (Chad); great-nieces, Kyleigh and Averie and a host of other dear family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, October 3, 2026 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Hwy., Shepherdsville, KY) with burial to follow at Brookland Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Friday, October 2nd from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of his service at 12:00 pm at the funeral home.
