Robert Allen Wood

Mr. Robert Allen Wood, age 83, of Mount Washington, Kentucky, returned to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, April 26, 2023. He was born on October 22, 1939 in Brooksville, Kentucky. Mr. Wood is a United States veteran serving in the United States Army. After the military he served as a civil servant as a social worker. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 63 years, Jacqualine Wood; grandsons, Derek and Dylan Alvey.

He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Debbie Alvey; son, Robbie Wood; grandchildren, Devin (Steve), Amber, Caitlin, Biggs; great grandchildren, Luke, Lexi, Olivia, Ellie, Roland, Charlie, Chloe; nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at 11:30am in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Hwy 44 E at 123 Winning Colors Dr) with burial in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central. Family and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 from 10:00am until the time of service at 11:30am. Expressions of sympathy can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
