Robin Kaye Murphy-Russell

Robin Kaye Murphy-Russell, age 54, of Louisville, KY returned to her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, with her family by her side. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on January 19, 1971, to Brenda Murphy and the late Dillard Murphy. Robin was a loving mother, daughter, grandmother, and friend. Her family was the center of her universe. She radiated happiness, kindness, and compassion, touching the lives of everyone around her. Whether it was lending a helping hand, offering a listening ear, or simply showing up when it mattered most, Robin never hesitated to put others first. In her free time, she enjoyed playing bingo, doing puzzles, and most importantly being around her grandchildren. She brought light, laughter, and warmth to every moment. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her. Robin was preceded in death by her dad, Dillard Murphy and her granddaughter, Aaliyah Dunn. 

She is survived by her mom, Brenda Murphy; brother, Ryan Murphy; daughter, Jenna Murphy; son, Aaron Murphy; life-long partner, Steven Pring; stepchildren, Patrick Pring, Ashley Speed (Jess), and Dustin Pring (Emma); grandchildren, Aubrie Murphy, Serena Speed, Landon Speed, Lucas Speed, Madison Pring, and Evie Pring; along with many other family and friends.

Funeral Service will be conducted on Monday, August 11, 2025, at 6:00 pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road). The visitation will be held on Monday, August 11, 2025, from 1:00 pm until the time of service at the funeral home. Cremation was chosen.  www.subfuneralhome.com
