Mr. Rodney Kenneth Glass, age 91, of Shepherdsville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Sunday, July 26, 2026. Mr. Glass was born in Lexington, KY on January 21, 1935 to the late George Glass and Lovenia Sayre Glass. He was a devoted member of Little Flock Baptist Church and loved his Sunday school class. He proudly retired from the United States Army and was a beloved Papaw.
In addition to his parents, his loving wife, Joyce Glass; daughter, Donna Glass and siblings, Betty and Don preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Janie Pearcy (Darrell), Carol Welty and Allen Bagby (Peggy); grandchildren, Ashley Woosley (Jeremy), J.T. Bagby (Destiny), Justin Bagby (Addy), Ben Rose (Rachael) and Dan Rose (Marybeth); great- grandchildren, Emmy, Hudson, Harper, Blake, Elijah and Oliver and a host of other dear family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, July 31, 2026 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial to follow at Brookland Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Friday from 10:00 am until the time of his service at 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
