Ronald Dale Montgomery

Mr. Ronald Dale Montgomery, age 53, of Fairdale returned to his Heavenly Father on January 11, 2022. Dale was born on August 12, 1968, in Louisville, KY to Ronald and Susan (Edwards) Montgomery. He was a plumber and was employed with E & E Mechanical. Among those that preceded him in death are his grandparents, Joe and LaVerne Edwards, Rollin Montgomery, and Vera Jessie; mother-in-law, Jacqueline Vandiver; fathers-in-law, Harold “Fozz” Vandiver and Melvin “Rusty” Branham; and sister-in-law, Yvonne “Sissy” McCandless.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Jenny Lynn Montgomery; sons, Dewain Montgomery (Christy), Del Montgomery (Destiny), and Dean Montgomery (Marlana); grandchildren, Abigail, Adalyn, Allie, Hailey, Brayden, Mason, Hunter, Macie, Alana, Annabelle, Aubrey, and Ryan Jr.; parents, Ronald and Susan Montgomery; sisters, Crystal Montgomery and Lisa Stillwell (Ronnie); sister-in-law, Portia Vandiver; several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; and a host of family and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted at 6 pm on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with cremation to follow. Family and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday from 1 pm until time of service at the funeral home.
