Ronald Glenn “Ron” Patton, age 73, of Shepherdsville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Thursday, December 12, 2024, with loving family by his side. He was born on October 4, 1951, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Leon and Betty (Shain) Patton. Ron was an avid U of K fan, especially basketball. He enjoyed playing baseball, softball and riding motorcycles in his younger days. Ron loved children and his family. He especially loved spending time with his nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He leaves to cherish his memory his sister, Frances Flaherty; brother, Tom Patton (Linda); sister, Barbara Miller (Tony); special people, Brittany Noel and Hyatt Noel and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, family and friends.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at 5 pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.). Family and friends may pay their respects on Saturday, December 21, 2024, from 1 pm until the time of service at the funeral home.
