Mr. Ronald Cornell Taylor, age 83, of Louisville, Kentucky, returned to his Heavenly Father on Monday, April 20, 2026. Ronald was born on October 23 ,1942, in Boston, Kentucky to the late Stanley Mitchell Taylor and Catherine (Barnes) Taylor. He retired after 37 years of service from Vogt Tube Ice Manufacturing Company, he was a devoted and loving husband, dad, and Papaw. Ronald loved to cut and care for his lawn, he enjoyed sports of all kinds, he liked tinkering and working on cars and working with his hands. He and his sense of humor will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his late wife Carolyn, his parents, and 2 siblings Joseph and Betty.
He leaves to cherish his memories his children Thomas M. Taylor (Elissa), Rhonda Carol Williamson (Micheal), Ronald D. Taylor (Chrystal), 2 grandchildren Parker T. Taylor and Reese M. Taylor, along with 4 siblings and a host of other family and friends.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Highway at John Harper Freeway). Visitation will be held on Friday, April 24, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial to follow at Lebanon Junction Cemetery.
