Ruth Veola Ireland Armstrong Lindquist

Mrs. Ruth Veola Ireland Armstrong Lindquist, age 80 of Louisville, Kentucky returned to her heavenly father on Sunday, April 17, 2022. She was born on September 1, 1941 in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late James Norris Armstrong and Ruth Veola Armstrong; she was also preceded in death by her brothers, Tommy, Jimmy and Donnie Armstrong. Ruth was a good-hearted person who loved crossword puzzles, crocheting, knitting and was very crafty. She especially enjoyed time with her family and grandchildren.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Thomas W. Lindquist; her children, Darlene Cecil (Mike), Teresa Moore (Danny), Annette Sweeney (Doug); her grandchildren, DJ Moore, Stephen Cecil, Analisa Dunton, Michael Cecil, Christina Bosemer, Amy Junge and Chelsea Baltzell; along with 14 great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 22, 2022 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home 4895 N. Preston Highway Shepherdsville, with cremation to follow. Visitations will be Thursday 2-8 pm and on Friday 9 am until time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to American Lung Association and the Susan G. Komen for the cure foundation.
