Mrs. Sandra “Sandy” Gail Higgs, age 55 of Louisville, Kentucky returned to her Heavenly Father on Thursday, February 24, 2022. She was born on January 28, 1967 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Norbert and Mary Hartung. She enjoyed being in the kitchen cooking meals for her family and friends.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband, Richard Higgs; her daughter, Anna Stine; her brother, James Hartung (Lea); her sisters, Joan Spurlin, Carol Bargatze (Stephen), Mary Koppel (Jerry) and Judy Hooper (Jim); a special thanks to Theresa for all her love and care; along with a host of other family and friends.
Funeral service will be 12pm on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home 4895 N. Preston Highway Shepherdsville with burial to follow at Brookland Cemetery. Visitations will be Monday from 2pm until 8pm and on Tuesday 10am until time of service.
