Sharon Patricia Patterson Strickland

Sharon Patricia Patterson Strickland, age 85, of Louisville, KY returned to her Heavenly Father on Thursday, December 21, 2023.   She was born in Jefferson County, KY on June 11, 1938, to the late Estel Patterson and Chere Eura Carter Patterson.

She was a woman of faith and a member of the Highview Baptist Church.  She was a retired school board member at Highview Baptist School, a 

real estate agent, landlady, real estate broker and home builder.

Besides her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband, Neil F. Strickland; two sons, Edd Strickland and Scott Strickland; brother, Douglas Strickland.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Debra Rowell; granddaughters, Patricia Clark (Kane) and Devin Strickland; brother, David Joseph Strickland (Anita); daughter-in-law, Rebecca Strickland and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted at 11 am on Friday, December 29, 2023, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery.  Friends may pay their respects on Thursday, December 28, 2023, from 1 pm until 8 pm and on Friday from 9 am until time of service at the funeral home.
