Shelba Jean (Spurrier) Wilson, age 89, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, returned to her Heavenly Father on Saturday, May 9, 2026. She was born in Grayson County, Kentucky, on January 30, 1937, to the late Albert and Vonnie (Pryor) Spurrier.
Shelba was a long-time member of Overdale United Methodist Church. Before retiring, she worked in the Marketing Department at Wesley Manor Retirement Community and the Payroll Department at Bacons.
Shelba was always cheerful and made those around her laugh. She had a love for fashion, decorating, and birds. She especially enjoyed watching the redbirds in her yard, commenting it was her sweet husband and other family members visiting her.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Kirby Wilson; her sister Wilma Lee (Spurrier) Clark; and her brother Harlan Spurrier.
She leaves to cherish her memories her devoted daughter Larissa Oliver (Mike); her grandchildren Meghan Gregory (Jake), John Oliver (Maranda), and Jeff Oliver; her great-grandchildren Jordan, Kaitlyn, and Olivia Oliver; her sister-in-law Betty Spurrier along with a host of other dear family and friends.
Private burial was chosen.
