Stella Marie Hardin

Mrs. Stella Marie (McIntyre) Hardin, age 83, of Louisville returned to her Heavenly Father on December 27, 2024. Mrs. Hardin was born on July 22, 1941, in Louisville, KY to the late Bruce and Thelma (Heck) McIntyre. She was a cook for Banquet Table Smorgasbord and a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel. Among those that preceded her in death are her parents, and husband, Charles “Gene” Hardin.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Tammy Downard (Joe), Robert Hardin (Linda), Kenny Hardin, and Donnie Hardin; grandchildren, Joey (Karen), Jeremy (Kori), and Candace (Gary); 10 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Shirley Hunter and Deb Lechner.

A memorial service will be conducted at 6 pm on Saturday, January 4, 2025, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road). Family and friends may pay their respects on Saturday from 1 pm until the time of the service at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Lung Association.
