Susan Davis

Susan Davis, age 90, of Louisville, Ky returned to her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, February 5, 2025. She was born in Howardstown, Kentucky on December 5, 1934. Susan was a loving mother and grandmother. She was retired from Louisville Gas & Electric, and a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, late husband Frank Davis and by Roy Thomas Cruse ; sons, Thomas Cruse and James Cruse.   

She is survived by her sons, Paul Cruse and Gary Cruse; daughters, Brenda Jones (Tom) and Mary Stanley (Gary); eight grandchildren; fourteen, great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; Thanks to Sherry Duvall for being there to help with mom, we couldn’t have done it without her; and a host of other dear family and friends.

A Funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel at Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Hwy, at John Harper Freeway). Visitation will be held on Wednes day, February 12, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until  8 p.m. Thursday 10 a.m. until time of service. Burial to follow at Brookland Cemetery.
