Ms. Susan Marie Hensley, age 60, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, returned to her Heavenly Father on Saturday, August 1, 2026. She was born on May 17, 1966, to the late George Edward Hensley and Delores Elizabeth Hensley in Louisville, Kentucky. She is preceded in death by her parents.
Ms. Hensley was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and a member of Dreams with Wings.
She leaves to cherish her memory her brother Steve Hensley (Virginia), Greg Hensley (Louise), Glen Hensley; nieces, Jennifer Hensley (Ronnie Castle), Angela Hensley (John Ed Scalf), Kathleen Hensley (Andy Metzger); nephews, Steven Hensley, Brian Hensley, William Hensley; and great nieces and nephews, Grace, David, Eliza, Clancy, Liam, Walt and Lou; and all of her many extended family members and friends.
Funeral Service will be held Monday, August 10, 2026 at 10:00 am in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd) with an internment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Family and friends may pay their respects on Sunday, August 9, 2026 from 1:00 pm until 5:00pm and again on Monday from 9:00 am until the service at 10:00 am.
