Susie Ellen Gibson

 Mrs. Susie Ellen Gibson, age 78, of Louisville, KY, returned to her Heavenly Father on Sunday, November 3, 2024. Susie was born in Hart County, Kentucky on May 23, 1946, to the late Herman Croghan and Ethel (Bratcher) Croghan.  She retired from General Electric after 30 plus years of service, was a member of Blue Lick United Baptist Church, she enjoyed spending time in her vegetable and flower gardens, sewing, cooking, and most of all spending time with her family. Susie will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents:

 She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of 60 years Delmer Gibson, her daughter Lisa Foster, son Scott Gibson, grandchildren Patrick Gibson, Autumn Fields (Michael), Great granddaughter Paisleigh Gibson, sisters Eunice Siefert (Doug), Virgaline Coates, Julia Piercy, Carolyn Graybeal (Sonny), brothers Richard Croghan (Clara), Carlos Croghan, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other dear family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Friday, November 8, 2024, at Blue Lick United Baptist Church (4271 Blue Lick Road, Louisville, Ky 40229).  Family and friends may pay their respects from 10:00 a.m. until 12:30 noon. Burial to follow at Brookland Cemetery. All Flowers should be sent to the Church.
