Tammi Elaine Terry

Mrs. Tamela Elaine “Tammi” Terry, age 54, of Mt. Washington returned to her Heavenly Father on May 17, 2021. Tammi was born on March 29, 1967 in Louisville, KY to Harold (Fran) McClure and Joyce (Floyd) Russell. She was a counselor with Jefferson County Public Schools and a National Board-Certified Counselor. Tammi touched many lives while working as a teacher and counselor. She was a member of Fern Creek Christian Church where she served as a youth leader. Tammi loved the Lord and had a servant’s heart. She had a passion for children and leaves behind a legacy of love, grace, and faith.  She was deeply loved by her family and many friends. She is preceded in death by her niece, Aubrey.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of 30 years, Norm Terry; children, Alex, Austin, and Aiden Terry; parents; brother, Tim McClure (Kelli); and nieces and nephews, Brian, Shannon, Ryan, Chase, Valerie, Kaylee, Megan, Matt, Paul, Ella, Anna, Reese, Hadley, Max, Brynleigh, and Caroline.

Funeral service will be held at 9 am on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Fern Creek Christian Church (9419 Seatonville Rd. Fern Creek, KY 40291) with interment in Highland Memory Gardens. Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday from 1-8 pm at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home-Mt. Washington (Hwy. 44 East at 123 Winning Colors Drive).
