Tracy L. Wheeler

Mrs. Tracy L. Wheeler, age 68, of Mt. Washington, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, with her family by her side. Tracy was born in Denver, Colorado but spent her childhood in Casey County, Kentucky. She was born on October 6, 1957, to the late Luther Russell and Dulcie (Huffaker) Russell. She worked over the years in retail, and her Faith in Yeshua (Jesus) meant everything to her. She enjoyed Genealogy, gardening, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren who lovingly referred to her as Oma. Tracy will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and grandson Garran Howard, and numerous brothers and sisters.

Tracy leaves, to cherish her memories, her loving husband Doug Wheeler, 3 sons Chris Howard (Victoria), Travis Howard (Beth), Luke Howard, (Chelsey), grandchildren Brendon, Kaitlyn (Walter), Shawn, Jeremiah, Eli, Abigail Adler, Ariella, Ananias, Azariah, Amory, Analise, great-grandchildren, Wesley, Graydon, Georgia, Maverick, sister Sandra Combs, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other dear family and friends.

A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Highway at John Harper Freeway). Funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at Duncan Memorial Chapel (5600 Old Floydsburg Road, Crestwood, Kentucky, 40014). Visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 12 noon. Burial to follow at Floydsburg Cemetery.
