Vanessa D. Turner age 72 of Fairdale, Kentucky passed away Friday, December 5, 2025, with her family by her side. Vanessa was born in Wayne, Michigan on August 1, 1953, to the late Oliver Wilburn Hamlet and Pearl (Glover) Hamlet. She retired from UPS, she enjoyed doing crafts, going to plays, concerts, going out to eat, shopping on line and doing girly things. She also was a member of the Pigeons Roost Inc., and TOPS.
She was preceded in death by her parents, children Rosalynn Turner, Donald (DJ) Turner, brothers Oliver Jr., Henry, and Jimmy Hamlet.
She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years Randy Burt, her bonus daughter Tammy Smith-Yates, grandsons Kendall Ensor, Matthew Turner, Dustin Turner, Eli Turner, granddaughter Kaylee Smith-Yates, sister Brenda Wahlberg, and her fur babies Miss Silver and Serenity. She will be truly missed by all that knew and loved her.
