Virginia Irene Browning

Mrs. Virginia Irene Browning, age 88, of Louisville, returned to her Heavenly Father on Monday, October 19, 2020 at her home. Mrs. Browning was born in Goodlettsville, TN on October 13, 1932 to the late Bea and Myrtle Holloman. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.

Among those who preceded her in death are, her 1st husband, Sidney Harold Walker; her 2nd husband, Hugh E. Browning; daughter, Virginia “Cricket” Burks and several brothers and sisters.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Patsy Lois McCubbins, Mary Jane Aldridge (Joseph), Harold Douglas Walker, Kenneth Ray Walker, Larry Wayne Walker, Brenda Sue Cornett and Steven Allen Walker; a host of beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and many other dear family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, October 26, 2020 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home, Mt. Washington (123 Winning Colors Dr., Mt. Washington) with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens. Family and friends may pay their respects on Sunday from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
