Virginia F. Combest- Bailey Smallwood

Mrs. Smallwood was born August 9, 1923 to the late Lawrence and Eliza Combest.

Among those who preceded her in death include, her husband, Wavie Smallwood; six brothers and sisters, Maxwell Coffey, Mary Belle Combest- Young, Magdalene Combest- Holt, Louie Combest, Betty Lou Combest- Lucas and Josirah Combest and parents.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Nellerene Combest- Jordan, Roselene Bailey- Johnson, Emma Jean Bailey- Ray, Virginia Faye Bailey- Nieves Cintra (Alberto) and James Albert Bailey; brothers, Wesley Jackson Combest (Florence), Eugene M. Combest and Samuel L. Combest (Joann); several grandchildren , great- grandchildren and great- great -grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 12:00 Noon at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial in Brookland Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Friday from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm and from 9:00 am on Saturday until the time of service at Schoppenhorst.
