Virginia Faye Johnson

Mrs. Virginia Faye (Evans) Johnson, age 87, Ohio County, of KY returned to her Heavenly Father on July 8, 2019.  She was born in Ohio county, Kentucky on May 12, 1932 to the late William and Elizabeth (Daughterty) Evans. Mrs. Johnson was a member of Hebron Lane Church of Christ and a woman of strong faith. She was a loving mother and Meme who loved her family dearly. She will be greatly missed.

She is preceeded in death by her loving husband of over 50 years, Glindle Carl Johnson; and several siblings.   

She is survived by her daughters, Brenda Rhodes (Robert), Debi Bailey (Steve) and Vickie Owens (Dennis); grandchildren, Samantha McCrary, Ryan Bailey, Jeremy Bailey, Sabrina Byers, Jessica McLean, Lindsey Syra, Benjamin Owens and Savannah Fatzinger; thirteen great grandchildren; twin brother, Ray Evans and other siblings; and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2019 from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm, with congregational singing from 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm and additional visitation from 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) Shepherdsville, Kentucky.  Mrs. Johnson will return to Sebring, Florida to be reunited with her husband in Lakeview Memorial Gardens at a later date.
