Mrs. Virginia Ruth "Jenny" Page, age 88, of Okolona, returned to her Heavenly Father on Sunday, August 23, 2015. Mrs. Page was born November 25, 1926 in Jefferson County to the late Bertran Bauer and Bessie Mae Garrett, she was Catholic by faith and a member of AMVETS Post 61.
Among those who preceded her in death include, her husband, John D. Page Sr. and daughter, Blanche Stallings.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Douglas Page; daughter, Carolyn A. Hefley; daughter- in- law, RoseAnn Bryant (Allen); grandchildren, Michael Stallings (Karen), Tim Stallings, Melissa Pedigo (Zach) and Pamela Bryant; great grandchildren, Tyler Stallings, Brooklynn Bryant and Jackson Pedigo; niece, Judy Kuzmierz (Stanley) and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral service will be conducted at Noon on Saturday, August 29, 2015 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with interment in Brookland Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of service at Schoppenhorst.
