Wanda Lee McDougall

Wanda Lee McDougall, age 84, of Louisville, Kentucky returned to her Heavenly Father on Monday, June 8, 2026. She was born on March 13, 1942, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Daniel and Ruth (Schmetzer) Allen. Wanda was a witty and feisty lady; you never knew what she would say next. She enjoyed making crafts and working in her yard in her earlier days. She also enjoyed going to restaurants with her family and sharing meals at her home with them. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Carol Crissman; husband, Michael Stephen McDougall; brothers, Daniel Allen, Donald Allen and Robert Allen and her sister, Patsy Miller.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Michael McDougall, Jr. and David McDougall (Cindy); daughter, Sandra Westrich (John); 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, Richard Allen and Michael Allen (Glenda) as well as a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with interment in Brookland Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 10:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
