Warren Glenn Stanley

Mr. Warren Glenn Stanley, age 82, of Brooks, Kentucky passed away peacefully on Monday, April 28, 2025, with his family by his side. Warren was born in Fairview, Kentucky on December 31, 1942, to the late William Gova Stanley and Mildred Gazelle “Roberson” Stanley. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and pawpaw. Warren was a Jefferson County Public School teacher for over 40 years of service, and a member of Little Flock Baptist Church. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, reading, crafting, traveling, and spending time in his flower and vegetable gardens. Warren will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister Billie Barnett Wolfert.

He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Judith Stanley, daughters Leigh Stanley Williams (Doug), Michele Stanley Middleton (Chris), Allison Stanley Ronayne (John), 8 grandchildren, Michael Cheser (Madi), Samantha Keating (Jimi), Abbie Frist (Gregory), Sadie Middleton, Caroline Schwalbach (Tyler), Jackson Middleton, Lazia Williams, Kiya Williams, 6 great-grandchildren, sister Joyce Bottoms, brother Steven Wayne Stanley.  Along with nieces, nephews and other dear family and friends.

A Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Little Flock Baptist Church, (5500 N. Preston Highway, Shepherdsville, Ky 40165. Burial to follow at Pleasureville Cemetery. The visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Hwy, at Brooks, Ky 40165), from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and again Friday morning at the chu
