William W.S. Brewer

Mr. William "W.S." Brewer, Jr., age 82, of Cox Creek, Ky., returned to his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, October 26, 2016. Mr. Brewer was a retired mechanic from Naval Ordinance, an avid hunter and race car driver.

Among those who preceded him in death include, daughter, Anita D. Foster; grandson, David Foster; Great granddaughter, Idalys; parents, William Sr. and Christella Brewer; sisters, Silby, Geneva, Eunice, and Minnie Lee.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 62 years, Sylvia "Jean" Brewer; sons; Wm. Keith Brewer (Kimberly) and Gregory Kent Brewer; grandchildren, Cammie Lance (Artie), Wes Brewer (Stacy), Bradley Brewer; great grandchildren, Brooke Foster, Brittany Foster, Shelby Lance, Brandon Foster, Mickey Foster, Haylee Brewer, Ava Brewer, and sister, Arthia Smith.

Funeral service will be conducted 10 a.m. Saturday, October 29, 2016 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd) with burial in Brookland Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Friday 3-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
