William "Bully" Smith

William “Bully” Smith, age 59, of Louisville, Kentucky returned to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, April 15, 2025. He was born on October 6, 1965, in Corpus Christi, Texas. Bully was a serious sports fan, supporting both men and women’s sports. He followed all sports, closely watching the drafting, statistics and records of every team in every sport. He was a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the U of L Cardinals. He was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn (Dwire) Goodier and his father, Keith Goodier.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his sisters, Darla Hoke (Jerry) and Muirl Stout (Rob); nieces and nephews, Amber Hoke, Brittany Romero (Mike), Chelsea Hoke (Kelsey), Whitney Hoke, Elijah Hoke (Dayana), Isaiah Hoke, Mikaiya Hoke, Ariyana Hoke, Jordan Hoke, Micah Hoke and Anaiah Hoke; 8 great-nieces and nephews; fur-babies, Dallas and Bode and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at 7:00 in the chapel of Shoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with cremation to follow. Family and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, from 1:00 until the time of the service at the funeral home.
