William Michael Eaton

Mr. William Michael Eaton, age 70, of Shepherdsville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Saturday, August 31, 2019. Mr. Eaton was born in Louisville on January 13, 1949 to the late William and Margaret (Borland) Eaton.  Mr. Eaton graduated from DuPont Manual in 1967. He was a United States Army veteran. He was retired from AT&T as a maintenance supervisor after 37 years of service. Mr. Eaton was a member of Okolona Christian Church.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 50 years, Deborah Lynn (Metten) Eaton; daughters, Rhonda Summers (Todd) and Leslie Duncan (Travis); grandchildren, Alanna, Carissa, Braylen, Dawson and Alan; great granddaughter, Brooklyn; sister, Rosalind Dial (Eddie); brothers, Jeff Eaton (Carla) and Mark Eaton (Debbie); and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at 12 pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with interment to follow at Brookland Cemetery.  Friends may pay their respects on Monday from 2 pm until 8 pm and Tuesday from 9 am until the time of the service at the funeral home. www.subfuneralhome.com
