William Anthony Harper

Mr. William Anthony "Sonny" Harper, age 63, of Mt. Washington, Kentucky returned to his Heavenly Father on Sunday, May 5, 2024. He was born on March 16, 1961, in Louisville, Kentucky to Marjorie (Hardin) Harper and the late Charles Harper. Mr. Harper worked as a truck driver for Winn-Dixie and served in the United States Army 3rd Infantry Division. He is preceded in death by his father; sister, Marquita Harper; and brother, Mike Harper.

He leaves to cherish his memory his son, Anthony W. Harper; mother, Marjorie Harper; siblings, Charles Harper, Jr., Amos Harper (Ruth), Pauline Harper (Mona) and Lisa Harper (Steve); and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Cremation service was chosen. Inurnment held on Friday, May 17, 2024 at 12:00 pm in St. Stevens Cemetery. Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) are in care of the arrangements. A small gathering will be held immediately following the graveside service at First Savings Banking Center (702 N. Shore Drive Jeffersonville, IN 47130.)
