For 12.5 years she was a nurse at the U.S. Public Health Hospital Services on Beacon Hill. From 1955 - 1982 she was Postmaster of Medina WA. In August 2005 she was honored to be the Grand Marshal of the parade celebrating Medina's 50th anniversary of incorporation. Alice is survived by a brother, Jim Sparks, of Algona, Iowa, several nieces and nephews plus many friends.
She was a long time active member of NARFE and of the First United Methodist Church of Bellevue, 1934 108th Ave NE where a memorial service will be held Sat., January 10 at 1:00 p.m.
