

Betty was a most loving and loyal person who passed away with family members by her bedside after a 12 month courageous battle against Pancreatic Cancer. Betty was born in Seattle to Herbert W. Attlesey, a pharmacist, and his wife Myrtle Dare Bertran. Betty graduated from Franklin H.S. and then continued on to the U of W. At the U she became a member of AOPi after being involved in both the Ark Assembly Rainbow Girls and Sigma Tau Alpha. Betty's life is told in her Memoirs which include her marriage, her three boys, family life for a spell in Florida and a company she co- founded "Patterns Unlimited Intl."
Predeceasing Betty in death are her parents and son Jeffery Warren. She is survived by her husband Joseph Warren and her sons John Paul (Arlene), Barry Herbert and her sister, Diana Vogel. Also surviving are five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A joyous celebration of Betty's life will be held January 7, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Sand Point Community, United Methodist Church 4710 NE 70th Street Seattle. Afterwards a High Tea will be given in Betty's honor at the Hotel DECA 4507 Brooklyn NE (U district).
