Eleanor Evelyn Mueller Odle

Eleanor Odle was a California gal, but lived in Seattle for 74 years. She was born in Visalia, California, July 3, 1920, to Alexander and Ola Mueller. She spent her youth in Visalia and Pasadena, CA. In 1939, she located to Seattle to attend Seattle Pacific University where she met Willard F. Odle. They married in December, 1940, and made their home in Seattle except for 3 years in Portland when Willard attended Dental School. They returned to Seattle where Dr. Odle opened his dental practice, and the family established their home in Laurelhurst. She was active at University Presbyterian Church, in a Children's Orthopedic Hospital Guild and enjoyed the Sigma Rho Women's Alumni group from Seattle Pacific University. Family members were at her side when she passed away June 27, 2016, in San Juan Capistrano, CA, where she lived the past two years near a daughter. She was predeceased by her parents and her husband. She is survived by her sister, Esther Bennett of Costa Mesa, CA, her children, Linda Odle Bustrum (Dwight), San Clemente, CA, Kristine Odle, Friday Harbor, WA, Dean Odle, Tucson, AZ, nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
