Mary Jane worked various retail positions at University Bookstore before going on to be a proud employee of Frederick & Nelson, where she was a buyer for the "Tip to Toe" shop. She was also very involved throughout her life with a variety of both philanthropic and social clubs - Women's University Club, The Sunset Club, Seattle Tennis Club, The Arboretum Foundation and Children's Hospital Auxiliary, to name just a few. A dedicated follower of fashion, she loved to travel and enjoyed nothing more than maintaining her many enduring friendships in addition to making new friends along the way.
Mary Jane was preceded in death by her beloved parents and her two loving sisters, Ruth and Betty. She leaves behind 4 nieces and 2 nephews.
