Ruth passed away June 25, 2016 at age 93. Daughter of Prof. Joseph Daniels and Gladys Fletcher Daniels. Ruth Married Curtis H. Wienker in July of 1941. She taught in Anchorage briefly before returning to the
U. of W. for an advanced degree in Counseling. Following that she served as a counselor at Ballard High School, from which she retired in 1984. Ruth is survived by three children: Dr. Curtis Wakefield Wienker, Tampa, FL., Wendy Ruth Wienker, Edmonds, WA and Robin Christine Wienker, Bellevue, WA. She was very proud of her children and their accomplishments. At her request there will be no funeral.
