Ruth E. Wood passed away on Monday, December 12, 2016 in Seattle, Washington. She was born October 24, 1928 in Seattle to Paul and Elsa Stoll. In 1949 she married James Wood and enjoyed 53 years of marriage. Ruth and Jim met while at the School of Pharmacy at the University of Washington. They faithfully served the community operating their own Pharmacy for over forty years, and had one of the first drive through pharmacies in the area.
Ruth is survived by her son Randy (Kelly), daughter Margo (Mike) and 2 grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to the Lake Forest Park Presbyterian Church or an Alzheimer's organization.
