Ann E . Van Deusen, born August 5, 1932 to "Daddy" Guy M and "Momma" Ida J. (Powers) Lord, passed away on June 14, 2018 in her home surrounded by loved ones. Ann graduated from Winterville High School and then attended business college in Athens, GA. She was widowed from her first husband, William "Billy" Pittard. She was employed by Pure Oil, Union Oil and Colonial Pipeline, from which she retired after many years of faithful service. She married Richard E. Van Deusen on April 21, 1990 and they enjoyed many fun adventures together. Ann was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, sister Guydelle, husbands, other family members and friends. She is survived by her step-children: Deborah (Kevin) Aurelio, Dale (Pam) Van Deusen, Laurie Lightner, Betty (John) Held, Dean (Kimberly) Van Deusen, and Becky (Jerry) Hart; nephews and nieces Doug (Kathy) Lyle, Richard Lyle, Kathy (Michael) Hunter, Ronald (Jennifer) Lyle, Leslie (Patricia) Lyle and David Lyle, all of whom considered Ann a second mother; 18 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 6 grand-nieces, 3 grand-nephews, 5 great-grand nieces, 3 great-grand nephews, cousins and friends. Ann made a lasting and loving impression on all who met her. She loved greatly and was loved greatly in return. Heaven's gain is our loss.
