Arthur Wesley Padgett, Jr. of Lawrenceville, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at the age of 93. Mr. Padgett was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee to Arthur and Arra Lee Harris. He worked for many years as a service manager for National Cash Register Company. Mr. Padgett was predeceased by his wife, Mary Anne Padgett. He is survived by his daughter, Carol Glenn of St. Louis, MO and son, Jay (Julia) Padgett of Lawrenceville GA. He is also survived by a granddaughter, Ashley (Rodney) Dollar of Bethlehem, GA, and four grandsons, Jay (Angie Lewis) Cox of Lees Summit, MO, Ben Padgett of Lawrenceville, GA, Nat DeMore of Atlanta, GA and Ben DeMore of Charleston, SC, great grandchildren, Ella DeMore, Bailey Cox, Taylor Padgett, Avery Cox, Caleb Padgett, and Gavin Dollar and many friends. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 4th, 2017 at 10:00 at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens 3700 Stone Mountain Highway. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 12:00 at Lilburn Christian Church 314 Arcado Road. Luncheon to follow.
