Aundry “Tootie” Ogden was born on September 5, 1952 in Baxley, Georgia. Tootie was the third of five sons born to the late John Otis and Ruthie Mae Og-den. When Aundry was very young, John and Ruthie moved their family to Buffalo, New York where Aundry graduated from Bennett High School in 1971. Two years after his graduation, Tootie met the love of his life, Lorraine Ellen Foote. They were married on March 13, 1987 and had 4 children - Nicho-las, Nathalie, Marcella, and Matthew. Aundry graduated from Buffalo State College in 1976, and he was a hard worker, never without a job. He was em-ployed as a dispatcher for Higgins Trucking, Inc., and a truck driver for Frito Lay. He also worked for M&T Bank, ABD Electric, and he retired from Niaga-ra Mohawk in the early 2000’s. Even after retirement, Aundry kept busy by working odd jobs for family and friends.

In 2015, Aundry moved to Atlanta, Georgia to care for his father. He was a devoted husband, father, son, papa, and good friend to many. Tootie often spoke of how blessed he was to live such a long and full life in spite of being diagnosed with sickle cell anemia at a young age. Tootie enjoyed watching football, especially the Baltimore Ra-vens. He loved to watch Westerns; working on cars; driving his Ford Pick-up truck; spending time with family, especially his grandchildren; eating steak, Wavy Lays potato chips, smarties, vanilla cookies; and drinking Coca Cola.

Aundry was preceded in death by: his parents, John and Ruthie Ogden; his brothers, Donald, Shirrel(Cassandra), Michael (Linda) and John Jr.; and his granddaughter, Madison. Aundry’s memories will be cherished by: his loving and devoted wife Lorraine; his children Nicholas (Sonia), Nathalie (Rodney), Marcella, and Matthew; his grandchildren who affectionately called him “Lil Papa” Jazmine “The Boneap-art,” Nichaela, Raja, Rodney, Jr. “The Rock,” Alice, and Ariana his beloved “Fluffy;” his step-grandchildren Lyndacee and Tevon; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

His funeral service will be livestreamed at 2 pm on June 26, 2020 at https://www.facebook.com/Eternal-Hills-Funeral-Home-Cremation-Services-135373843179042/.

Aunt Lorraine, Nicholas ( ), Nathalie (Rodney), Marcella, Matthew, Jazmine, Raja, Nickayla, RJ, Alice, and Ariana, my deepest condolences. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Uncle Toodie, "Kragbe girl!" you would always call me, with the biggest smile on your face. You were always happy to see me, and I you. I was only your niece, but you made room in your big heart as though I was one of your own. Words cannot express how much you mean to me. You filled such a big void after my parents divorce. My father was so far way, and you drew near, never trying to replace him (actually honoring him), but always welcoming. With much gratitude, I will never forget how you helped me and stepped in by dancing the father daughter dance at my debutante ball, ushering me into this great big world as I cross the threshold into woman hood. I will also remember eating Leonardie's Pizza (yumminess) and watching movies with you and the family on your ginormous TV; getting my first taste of beer (yuck, no thanks). You did not have many words, but your firm hands on my shoulders, encouraging me to be strong always spoke to my heart. You helped me to get my new car and taught so much about maintaining it. I knew you cared because you disciplined me right long with the twins without even skipping a beat. You fought the good fight and now you're at rest. Yesterday was not a very happy father's day. My heart has an awful ache for I will miss you dearly Uncle Toodie.

To: Lorraine, Nicholas, Nathalie,Marcella, and Matthew and the grand children’s sending love and (((hugs))) you have my deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy on losing your husband, dad, and grand dad, he was a wonderful friend, Uncle/father figure to my son, there is so much I can say about the awesome person he was always there when you needed him helping me to keep my son on the right track while living in Buffalo. We were all sad when he left Buffalo to relocate to Georgia and our hearts ache even more now because we were not able to say a fond farewell to him. You were a good and faithful servant to all whose path you crossed. May you rest now (TOOTIE) in GOD’s loving arms we loved you but we understand God loves you more 🙏🏽 your job here on earth is done but know that your memories shall forever live on in the hearts of all that knew and loved you unconditionally whatever you did to help us will be remembered (forever).....until we meet again rest peacefully in paradise.

My deepest condolences and prayers are with my Ogden family. Pop O as I've called him for over 2 decades was such an honorable man, an amazing spirit that will definitely be missed. A true man's man with an incredible family! I'm truly grateful to have been his eldest sons' Nick's bff all these years. I know Pop O is extremely proud of all of his children, his legacy. Look in the mirror when you miss him most. I know you'll see him looking back at you. I love you all. The Jordan Fam
