Barbara was born February 4, 1930 in Vineland, New Jersey to parents Robert and Elsie Meltz. She was married August 8, 1950 in Elkton, Maryland to Theodore Simon Kecskes. They raised five children Theodore Robert Kecskes, William Michael Kecskes, Stephen Jeffrey Kecskes, Linda Kecskes Levin, and David Allen Kecskes. She retired January 1990 in Miami, Florida from Sealand Services, Inc. She was blessed with 17 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Barbara passed away at Gwinnett Medical Center June 26, 2015 in Lawrenceville, Georgia.
Visitation will be held on Sunday July 5, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Eternal Hills Funeral Home in Snellville, Georgia immediately followed by a Celebration of her Life at 2:00 pm.
Barbara’s final resting place will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Miami, Florida beside her husband of 40 years.
