Our dear father, Barry Mou-Cheng An, passed away on October 3, 2025 in Atlanta, GA. He was born on June 7, 1930 in Tsingtao, Shandong Province, China and married his wife, Janet Su-Kway An, in Taiwan in 1965. Our beloved father was a naval officer, merchant marine first officer, and restaurant owner who possessed impeccable character, sense of humor, and lived larger than life. He exemplified integrity, responsibility, and compassion and instilled those values in his children and grandchildren. His love of sports made him strong physically and mentally throughout his life. He was the most kind, loving and caring father a child could ever wish for and was a role model for his children and grandchildren through his tremendous patience, hard work ethics and unconditional love for his family.
Barry is survived by his son Yi-Sen (Ling Chen), daughter Jennifer (Brian Cheney), and his lovely grandchildren Stephen, Andrea and Jack.
