Beulah Jean Rowland, a beloved mother, "Nana", sister, aunt, and friend, peacefully departed this life on June 12, 2025, at the age of 72. She was born on October 13, 1952, in Lowndes County, Alabama, to the late Rubin Caldwell and Willie Mae Reese.
Beulah’s life was marked by quiet strength, enduring faith, and deep love for her family. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering support were a source of comfort and inspiration to those blessed to know her.
She leaves behind her devoted daughter, Delaycee Rowland Franklin, and her cherished son-in-law, W. Julian Franklin. And Beulah found immeasurable joy in the lives of her three grandchildren—Ethan, Avery, and Dylan—each of whom brought her pride, laughter, and endless love.
Beulah is also survived by her sisters and brothers Rosie Lee Wiley, Dorothy Lee Reese, Laura Clayton, George Reese, and Wilbert Reese as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins who were uplifted by her wisdom and grace. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and all who were touched by her gentle spirit and generous heart. May she rest in peace.
