Bobette was born in Chicago, Il in 1938 to Harry and Helyn Monighan. Bobette went to Loyola University (Chicago) for her undergraduate degree in education and later received a master’s degree in education from Georgia State University. She was involved in education for over 30 years. Bobette retired from teaching and lived a very active life enjoying cultural arts, friends, and family.
Bobette was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Machnik. She is survived by her two daughters and their husbands, two grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
There will be a Celebration of Life memorial for Bobette on Friday, February 2, 2024 at Eternal Hills Funeral Home from 11am-12:30pm.
