Brad Taylor Boatfield, 41, of Villa Rica, GA, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 3, 2026, surrounded by family and loved ones. Brad was born, April 22, 1984, in Snellville, Georgia. Brad worked as an engineer for 13 years on CSX Railroad, although it was his passion and brought him great joy, he longed for a job closer to home to spend more time with his twins, Gunner Robert and Taylor Beth Boatfield. His greatest joy in life was being a father. Brad did not take the title father lightly, he sacrificed, he loved, he cherished. He coached their sporting teams and taught them his passion for hunting and fishing. Brad loved to be outdoors and was an avid marksman and believed in the simple life. Brad’s devotion to Alabama Football, (ROLL TIDE) was apparent in his collection of memorabilia and apparel. You never caught him without an Alabama hat or shirt on. Brad met his fiancé, Mindy, a couple of years ago and she was one of the truest blessings in his life. He found compassion, security, love, patience, happiness and acceptance, they were truly a match made in Heaven.
Brad is survived by his fiancé, Mindy Hudnall, twins Gunner and Taylor Boatfield, his stepchildren, Blake & Kamryn Hudnall. His father Glenn Boatfield & Cindy of Loganville.
