Brenda Joyce Massey Harris of Loganville, died peacefully on Saturday, July 4th at Abbey Hospice in Social Circle. She was 74. She is preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Geneva Massey. Brenda is survived by her husband of 56 years, John Harris of Loganville, her sister and late brother in law, Lynette and Jerry Hicks of Blue Ridge, and her sister and brother in law, Marla and Aaron Crawford of Loganville. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, who gave her much joy.
Brenda was born in Toccoa, Ga., and after she married, she worked with the Army Corps of Engineers for 38 years. She was an avid photographer, and genealogy buff. She enjoyed reading and telling silly jokes but her favorite past time was spending time with her family.
The funeral is scheduled for Wednesday, July 8th at 11:00 am, with a visitation beginning at 10:00 am at Eternal Hills Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens.
