Our story with Brittany Sheree’ Jones began on a cold day in Toledo, Ohio, February 27th, 1988. From the moment she arrived in this world, she was light — pure, bright, and full of purpose. I knew right then that she would move through this world with passion and heart. As her mother, I watched Brittany grow into a beautiful young woman wise beyond her years, full of playful energy and laughter. She was protective and strong, but also gentle and kind. Her younger sister, Erin, adored her. Brittany was her best friend, her first teacher, and the one who made every day a day full of adventure. Together, they shared secrets, dreams, and countless memories that shaped who they both became. In 2001, Brittany met Ronald Sterling, Jr., and together they built a beautiful family. They were blessed with two sons, Berjean M. Sterling and Ronald A. Sterling III, and two daughters, Arion K. Sterling and Kamari R. Sterling. Though life took them on different paths, Brittany and Ronald remained united in their own crazy kind of love with a commitment to their children. Years later, Brittany’s heart grew even bigger when she welcomed her youngest son, Princeton A. Williams, in February 2016 — the “little prince” who completed her world. Her five children were her life’s greatest joy and forever her proudest achievement. They were her reason, her strength, and her heartbeat.
Because Brittany wanted to be at home with her children, she began to explore her creativity in many ways. She was drawn to her passion for being creative which then blossomed into her business, Moiz Skincare Collection, where she poured her heart into helping others feel confident, cared for, and radiant. Brittany’s beauty radiated inside and out. She loved life — working out, relaxing in the sauna, trying new foods, sewing, crocheting, traveling, and of course, creating new skincare magic. But her favorite place was always home, surrounded by her children. Even when her health began to be challenging in 2023, Brittany never stopped showing up for those she loved. She faced every challenge with courage, humor, and grace. She always made sure her children were safe, and her friends and family could always count on her to be there. That was just who she was — a woman of strength and heart who gave her all, even when it wasn’t easy. On October 13th, 2025, Brittany’s journey on earth came to a close, and she was called home to Heaven. We find peace in knowing she was received by Jesus, surrounded by love, free from pain, and more radiant than ever. Brittany leaves behind a legacy of love and light — her devoted mother Jaime Avery, (Robert); her father Larry Jones: her husband Ronald Sterling, Jr.; her children Berjean Sterling, Ronald Sterling III, Arion Sterling, Kamari Sterling, and Princeton Williams; her sister Erin Nuttall, (Darreon); her niece Eliza Nuttall; her grandmothers Katherine Summers; Cecile Avery; La Retta Turner; Doris Brown (deceased); her grandfathers James Summers (deceased); Elder John W Grady III, (Esther); Bobby Pope; her aunts Rose Summers; LaTanya Adams-Hall, (Kerry); Shermaine Hancock; Dasia Dukes; Roxanne Brown; Raquel Brown-Green; her uncles; her cousins; her in-laws and a host of other family and friends who will forever
be touched by her life. She will be remembered for her smile, her laughter and her solid point of view that always filled the room, her grand rising morning messages, words of encouragement and the way she made each of us feel special in her own way.
Brittany was a phenomenal mother, daughter, sister, auntie, niece and friend — a woman who turned pain into purpose, dreams into action, and love into legacy. Her story does not end here. It continues in every life she touched — in her children’s smiles, in her sister’s strength, in her mother’s heart, and in the countless people who will forever carry her light.
