

Camille Rosemary Calmes was born on May 26, 1958, in Winston Salem, North Carolina, to the late Corintho Jordan and Richard Dixon. She is a graduate of East Forsyth High School Class 1976. After graduation Camille continued her education at A & T State University in Greensboro North Carolina and began a career in sales. Camille served as administrative assistant at New Covenant Church of Winston Salem for fifteen years. While attending church service at New Covenant Church, Camille met the love of her life Calvin Calmes. The two joined hands in holy matrimony in 1993. Upon relocating to Atlanta, Georgia Camille became an active member of World Changers Church International. Camille was a kind woman with a gentle heart and spirit. She dedicated her life to serving God and assisting any in need. Camille was a tenderhearted homemaker. After God, family came first for Camille. Her hobbies included traveling the world, do it yourself projects and being a support to her family. She filled her home with her warmth. On any given day you could find her in the kitchen cooking meals fit for a king.
Camille was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Novella Eldrige. To mourn her passing and rejoice in her memories she leaves: her husband of 27 years Calvin Calmes, daughter Denae Calmes, brother Ricardo Dixon(Wanda), 2 nephews Kenneth Dixon and Timothy Dixon(Cassondra) along with a host of other relatives and friends. She will be eternally loved and fondly remembered.
