She was raised to be Godly and prayerful and was an active, faithful member of the Church of Christ her entire life.
After WWII she married Navy veteran Wilfred Bernard Lynch, Jr. on August 19, 1949. They were known to their friends first as "KitKat & Bernie" but in time it was shortened to "Kit & Bo". They were married for 55 years.
Kit was preceded in death by her husband, Wilfred Bernard Lynch, Jr.; parents, Warner and Myra Fowler; and siblings, Frank Fowler and Moreen Herren. She is survived by two sons, Tim & wife Diane of Claremore, Oklahoma and Dale & wife Allison of Lawrenceville, Georgia; three grandchildren Joshua & wife Trisha of Virginia, Jason & wife Rebecca of Colorado and Leah of Lawrenceville, Georgia; six great-grand children Jackson & Jasea of Colorado, Stryder, Journey, Brighton and Elias of Virginia.
Kit enjoyed being around people and it showed in the professions she chose such as Welcome Wagon, Home Interiors & Gifts, Inc., yard selling, and Depression glass/merchandise collection/resale. She also volunteered for Christian school fundraisers and church activities. She found enjoyment in working with children of all ages, especially her grandchildren and great-grand children. She kept the home environment pleasant and upbeat with plenty of singing, laughing and quotes like, "Hello walls" when she thought she was being ignored. She was the home manager and exercised creative forms of discipline and love. We were all awe inspired by her love and generosity of giving of herself by helping others. For many years she took care of her aging mother, who lived to be 95. Her love, personality, positive outlook, laughing and singing will be sorely missed, but our loss is certainly heaven’s gain.
