Surviving are his mother of Pekin; one brother, Erik (Cathy) Loy of Streator; one sister, Elizabeth (Kevin) Kee of Vienna, Virginia; four nieces and nephews, Amber Davis, Lucas Kee, Lydia Kee and Emilie Loy.
His father preceded him in death.
Chris was a loyal and longtime employee of LexisNexis and his work was his life.
He enjoyed fishing, raising chickens and loved his puppy. He also enjoyed scuba diving in earlier years.
Chris had an incredible mind and will be remembered as a jack of all trades.
A private graveside service will be held at Sand Prairie Cemetery in rural Green Valley. There will be no visitation. Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin is assisting his family with arrangements.
